Printable Mother's Day

Tea Cup Card

1 Tea Bag
Tape
Scissors
Tea Cup Template- printable version
Card Stock or Colored Printing Paper
Pen - to write a note to mom on inside
Optional-Crayons, Markers or even Glitter (for decorating card)

First you will need to print our tea cup card template out. You can use card stock or colored printing paper. I used pink card stock paper. Optinal-If the child is going to color the tea cup try printing it on white card stock paper and then have the child color it and add stick glue to the tea cup and sprinkle on some clear glitter.

Let's cut the tea cup out now.

you have cut it out.

Next take your scissors and cut a slit on the straight line that you see on the front of the tea cup card. This was a little hard using my big scissors but I managed to get it in there.

Now open your tea card up.
Take some tape and double it over
and stick it to the inside of the card.
Then stick your tea bag of choice to the
tape like you see in the picture.

Pull your tea tab and some string through the slit.

Do some more folded over tape and stick it on the little box on the front of the card. Press your paper tea tab into the tape like you see in the picture. And that's it! Write a special note to mom on the inside of the card and give it to her for Mother's day.

This is the finished Mother's Day tea card.
